PFW Fashion on Fith


From the producers of  Pittsburgh Fashion Week presents, ‘Fashions on Fifth’   Fashion on Fifth street team simulates a photo shoot for one exciting hour during Pittsburgh’s lunch rush in several locations to promote the second annual Pittsburgh Fashion Week. Attracting the attention of what was recognized as the worst dressed city, will prove once and for all that Pittsburgh has Style, Beauty and Fashion. The tour will start promptly at high noon on Fifth Ave. and Grant St., moving to Fifth Ave. and Smithfield St., Fifth Ave. and Wood St., and ending at Fifth and Liberty Avenues near the Fairmont Hotel.



Showcasing their creativity in our fair city, PFW will be highlighting very talented student designers: Skyy Golden and Tammy Jackson – The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and Cary D. Heard- attending Kent State University this fall to study fashion design and all are showing in our back to back runway shows during fashion week. Aspiring models from various areas: Breanne Williams, Deonna Anne, Keira Hardy, Chanell Renee, Linsey Coffey, and Abbie Heigel. Our PGH Style correspondent: Elena LaQuatra was Miss Pennsylvania’s Outstanding Teen 2008 and Miss Pennsylvania Teen USA 2010, will reel the crowds in with her witting conversations and sparkling smile. And performing the photo shoot, local photographer Bruce M. Straka.

In addition to all the action, style and beauty must wrap it all together. Salons Harmony and Pretty Hair will do the trick; designing looks to fit the flair. Styling Wed.
